Pallar or Pandiyar or Mallar or Devendira Kula velalars were the true rulers of tamilnadu. They are the true pandiyas.. During 1920’s, Kollam court gave an judgement in a civil case, that says pallars are pandian kings and pandian peoples.. Orissa balu research also says that mallars are the true rulers of tamilnadu. (watch orissa balu seminar on youtube).. And sadly mallar kings lost their kingdom to telugu naickers around 1200b.c.. Madurai meenatshi amman temple, palani murugan temple, samayapuram amman temple and many more temples in tamilnadu have ownership documents, that says pallar or pandiyan kings built these temples.. Also every year in all these temples, the first respect (i.e. Mudhal mariyadhai parivattam) was given only to pallar or mallar or pandiyar people. If any one have doubt, then ask brahmin priests from these temples, they will say pallars were the owner of these temples and they were the pandiyan kings.
